It has a delay setting but no value setting. If I start the effect nothing happens.
It should be very nice if this shortcut is working with a delay for a smooth transition. (the api setfader command has no delay option)

Hi,
Use the Fade function instead if you want a timed transition.

The fade effect can not stop halfway, I need to mix 50%, with setfader=128 I can do that.

Could use an overlay channel setting the alpha to 128.

My overlay channels are all in use, there are only 4 of them. Why is there a setfader option in shortcuts when it doesn't work? :)

SetFader is used to set a specific mix value between 0 and 255 It is not designed to be used to animate the mix.

I think you misundertood me, I do not mean the api setfader command. That is working OK (Function=SetFader&Value=128).
I want to use the Setfader shortcut command and that doesn't work. It has only a duration parameter and no value parameter. If I enter 128 in the duration parameter it isn't working either.

Sorry for the misunderstanding. SetFader was created for the API, but I will see about enabling it as a shortcut as well.
The "function" dropdown box for the shortcuts and api is the same so there is going to be a few items in the list that do not apply to shortcuts, I apologise for the confusion.
