How does everyone's recording of a vMix production turn out? I find the quality is a bit low. I have tried FFMPG and MP4 and AVI... the audio seems poor quality and the video isn't amazing. I've chosen the highest settings.

What settings does everyone use for really good recording quality?

Hi,

Perhaps it would be helpful to post a screenshot of the recording along with the settings used.
With MP4 the bitrate can be increased for both audio and video depending on how large you want the files to be.
The larger the bitrate the better the file size, but also better the quality.

We use 16Mbit MP4 with 384Kbps audio on our monthly live show recording and the quality is pretty close the original camera source.

Martin

So I did some testing last night and it appears I got a better result using 16Mbit MP4 vs the 75Mbit option. I also got a better result having the audio at 384Kbps instead of the 500(and something)kbps.

Strange... but it's all good. I'll go with what you guys use! :-)

Thanks heaps!
