This error usually means your stream key or url is no longer valid.
Check with your streaming provider to see if it has changed. (This can happen quite often, especially with services like YouTube live)

In that case, the streaming provider should be able to check their logs to see why the stream is being rejected.

Very odd that I should get the same issue today, have been doing a 60 minute facebook show everyday for the past two years, and this is the first time things have failed - I am guessing a fecebook issue.

It does look like the Facebook Live servers are down at the moment with errors of being unable to stream regardless of the encoder.
I suspect they may have an outage and will post an update if we know more (or if the issue resolves itself).

We are having the same issue. Although I am able to stream on Facebook using the web interface. Are we sure this is a Facebook outage? I cannot find anything online that indicates an outage with Facebook.

Thanks

Thank Goodness I found this thread.

I have been trying to stream for 2.5 hours with the SAME error. Seems to be a Facebook issue for sure.

You get what you pay for. Use professional CDNs or maybe for some reason YouTube. But stay far away from Facebook.

That may be true. But Facebook can bring a large audience to your show. No CDN can do that.

And not everyone can afford market rates for streaming.

May bring a large audience if it works. These days it's more like plug and pray. And if it works will it work untill the end of your show? Better post a link to your CDN or YouTube stream.

Well this seems to be a an ongoing issue, not sure where we should be reporting this too? I agree facebook is a great marketing tool, we broadcast on a host of public and private CDN's and even the expensive ones have their issues. It happens. Hopefully this will get fixed when everybody gets back to work on Monday and notices it.

Have a good weekend everybody.
