Hi friends, I'm planning to buy a Blackmagic Ultrastudio HD Mini to use with MacBook Pro (mid 2015 with bootcamp Win10)
Ultrastudio uses USB C (thunderbolt 3) and the Macbook Pro uses thunderbolt 2. Will it work using Apple Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 2 adapter?
Whit this solution I can use Ultrastudio HD mini also with my descktop pc that has USB C on Z270 MSI Motherboard.
Thanks

Not yet, as Blackmagic UltraStudio HD Mini is not supported yet by vMix. Blackmagic UltraStudio HD Mini works with Thunderbolt 3 only. It does not work with Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 2 adapter. As of this time, it only support the following software, Blackmagic Design: DaVinci Resolve, Fusion Apple: Final Cut Pro X Adobe: Premiere Pro CC, After Effects CC, Photoshop CC Avid: Media Composer, Pro Tools Autodesk: Smoke Steinberg: Cubase, Nuendo I hope soon vMix will support this device. Hi DVE,
I did on a MSI PX60 Laptop. It will never work on a 2015 Macbook Pro because it has on Thunderbolt 2. UltraSudio HD Mini works only in Thunderbolt 3.
