I'm trying to set up an input from an RTMP stream, using the VLC for vMix plugin, but I am only getting audio, no video. If I open the stream on VLC I get video, so I know the stream is fine.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

H264 for video, AAC for audio.

Here's the output from VLC's codec information

That's strange... It seems everything's correct...

Did you try the genuine Flash/RTMP input type ?

when I try to use the Flash/RTMP input it tells me to install Flash for IE, but when I try to install that it says it's already integrated with IE (it's a Windows Server 2016 machine)

oh! I'm not sure vMix is supposed to be running on a windows server OS.
You should write to support@vmix.com to make sure. Maybe, this is the reason why you have issues.

Good to know if it works with Flash RTMP but still doesn't work with VLC, right?
It's strange. Maybe you should ask support anyway to make sure...

There are certain windows elements (such as .net framework 3.5)that are not installed on Server2016 by default. It could be that this is why you have this issue.
