I'm not finding anything in my searches.

If I use API calls to trigger fades or other simple changes, it would be nice to have an output pane to see response as well. Even a jpeg stream or something that could show it's current output. Is there any means? Something that either a third party app could include or a web based controller. Using the RMTP stream has far too much latency.

An NDI feed would seem to be called for here... you could also use a trigger to take a snapshot....

You can use vMixUTC for this : https://forums.vmix.com/....aspx?g=posts&t=6468

In this video you will see a basic example of using UTC to create a user interface allowing to switch inputs aswell as having an integrated NDI monitor that shows the result of your switching. A perfect solution for specific use cases with remote or multiple vMix operators.

vMix UTC runs on Windows either on the same vMix host or any other computer on the same network
