with resolution and framerate?
did you try 720p?
3G SDI sometimes has problems with BMD Devices (SDI Level A and Level B)

Also try Black Magic Media Express, if you get the video there

the tecch data sheet of the camera says nothing about SDI Out, only HDMI and Composite

https://pro.sony/s3/cms-...ile/66/1237493716066.pdf

which HDMI to SDI do you use?

Does the card appear in Desktop Video Setup?
Does the fan on the card spin?
Do the card inputs appear in Media Express "Device" list?

you have to go to the settings of the BMD Desktop Video setup and set the connector mapping correct

I tried that, but it does not seem to work:

I do not see a choice, just a single input, nothing to choose other than type of input....and nothing over 9.53 would install, it keeps rollong back and giving an error....Cannot install any drivers over 9.53

That camera doesn't look like it support SDI which is digital. It has a BNC connector but it's analogue only.

It does have a HDMI output so you can probably get it to work with a BlackMagic micro HDMI->SDI converter (set to SDI output level B) and do it that way.
