Title transition IN/OUT via API - Is it there?

I need to do something I thought would be simple with the API.
I need to select an input and send "transition in" and "transition out"
Just like right clicking in the window. I cannot find anywhere to do this in the API.
Am I missing something?

OK that is slightly obscure.
Thanks, I will try it now.

It would be nice if the each of the API commands had a sample in the help. It would cut down on a lot of this.

Agree,, or a little more explanations like what might the value asked need to be ?

once you check aha TitleBeginAnimation (in the title section) .... title ok makes sense , Value ???? number ...nope.. what if same as animation options in title designer, worded the same as in the right click ... BINGO! ;-)

oh can do the other animations designed in the title too... ok all makes sense now

Indeed would have been quicker if a little help would say Value: any animation designed/used within the title or something
