I choose ignore and the install proceeds. vMix seems to function normally afterwards. Any ideas? Andrew

The error usually means something like skype is running in the background with a connection to the file. Regards, Martin vMix

It seems that both Skpye and Avermedia RECentral are the culprits. Interestingly I could quit Sskpye and that released the file but RECentral was not operating but still had a connection. So the workaround was to rename the .ax file, then run the new install.

Any idea what could be causing it? I guess I could try and remove the file manually then run the install.
