Hi Martin,
No big issue but the installer will not replace vMixVideo.ax when I do an in-place upgrade. I choose ignore and the install proceeds. vMix seems to function normally afterwards. Any ideas?

Hi Andrew,
It is important that vMix Video be updated during installation to make sure it is the latest version. The error usually means something like skype is running in the background with a connection to the file.
Regards,
Martin vMix

Finally tracked down the program. It seems that both Skpye and Avermedia RECentral are the culprits. Interestingly I could quit Sskpye and that released the file but RECentral was not operating but still had a connection. So the workaround was to rename the .ax file, then run the new install.

Just to say that the problem with Skype needing to be shut down is still occurring today with v.27 Shut down Skype - problem solved!

Hi,
I've been experiencing this issue with the previous two installs 0.80 and 0.83 and I do not have Skype running or even installed on one of my computers. Any idea what could be causing it? I guess I could try and remove the file manually then run the install.

The same happened to me today with V27.85. Could it be some O365 stuff like Teams having a handle on it.
