Could you please provide some more information. I'm having difficulty fully understanding the issues you mention?

jet wrote:SKYGIF wrote:Jan I had the same problem with my Logitech c910 webcam. In addition to the stutters I couldn't get it to throw the main video feed to Skype. All I did to fix both problems was go re-install updated drivers for the cam and all those issues disappeared. I recently switched over to Windows 8 so my drivers may not have been installed right with plug n play.
SKYGIF Weird enough re-installation of the exactly same version that was already installed solved the problem. Well, the issue is still alive! If I adjust the image settings of the C920 in its setup program I still get the video stutter. Maybe something to to with data / fps rate and/or illegal brightness/sync values etc that confuses vMix? Kind regards, Jan

this may be a little bug or perhaps operator error. I am running 12.0.0.58 and I have TickerHD3.xaml running on layer 2 And AnimatedHD.xaml on layer 1. When I turn off the scrolling text it stays on the screen but moves behind layer 1. The AnimatedHD layer is a bit transparent at the bottom so I am still able to see the scrolling text moving behind the lower 1/3. When reactivating layer 2 it moves back on top of AnimatedHD layer 1

My guess is because you might have the ticker set to the active input in addition to enabling it with the overlays.

Hi Martin, admin wrote:
I couldn't re-create the delay issue, I created a video delay and set it to 78%. When opening the preset again it was still set to 78%. Perhaps provide a screenshot?
I've digged into the preset file. 75% -> Rate="0,75" 78% -> Rate="0,779999971389771" 82% -> Rate="0,819999992847443" It looks like some floating point issue. My locale is 1043 (nl-NL). A part of 0,779999971389771 is what I saw on the button. [img][/img] admin wrote:
I created a test shortcut for SetVolume that set the preview volume to 50. (Value should be between 0 and 100, it doesn't support += or -=)
Note using the shortcut won't update the mixer window in real time but the volume will be changed.
You're right. I was a little bit focused on the mixer window, without that, it works. Adding support for += and -= would be very valuable for a next version. admin wrote:
The crop settings are designed to crop the underlying video image regardless of the zoom and pan settings.
Indeed, in version 11 it works the same. But it looks a little bit weird to me. Some options (on Main) influences the entire input, some not. Let me try to explain what I want to achieve. I rotate my first input around the Z A-xis for let's say 45 degrees. Then I want to cut 25% from the right in a straight vertical line. Cropping X2 doesn't make sense, since it crops the original image (as before rotate). So I put the my first input via Multi View on top of another input and crop X2 of the Main (in the presumption that it crops the entire view in a straight vertical line). admin wrote:
Will look into the ability to change multiview via API.
Thanks! Regards, Hanno

Hi Martin.
There seems to be some strange oddities in the new sound system.
The problem is to get File Recording to actual record the sound.
I see and hear the sound in the mixer but "Recording" input in the audio mixer just don't get the sound.
And an another issue with sound: After playing around with the different audio devices vMix wont quit and locks up (this happens also with the v11).
Kind regards, J. Tervo

Hi Jet,
Please provide a copy of the recording log for one of the recordings that doesn't have audio. As for the locking up, please provide detailed step by step instructions on how to re-create the issue, sounds like a possible driver problem with one of the devices.
Thanks,
Martin vMix

Hi Martin, is it possible to add a feature to save some triggerlists?
Example 1. I`ve got 3 triggers on my Input 1 there is a PC Game active 2. The Game change and i have to delete all my triggers and build new 3. the game change again and i have to build my triggers which had first new
So you see it would be very very great if you can implement a save function for the trigger feature.

Hello Martin, can you work with Damn2Good and the other guy working on playlist Controller to make it be more active with Vmix in other not to allow operator to interrupt when the controller is active because I tested it here; It works perfectly but it allowed me to bypass it without disconnecting the controller and also not even indicating that it being bypass.

Martin, is it possible for you to make this feature? We need this:
- Imagine a video playing with 5 minutes (or more or less, don't matter); - Imagine a cg overlay;
WHAT WE NEED: A way to set the overlay to appear automatic at a specific time that we could set. So, imagine that if I set this overlay to appear at 2min and 30 sec, then, he will appear at that time, and disappear a little seconds later. Of course that, for each video, we could set an specific time for all overlay input.
This is a very important feature. We are really needing it.
Thank you.

Thank you. I think the problem can be solved easily by adding a "delay" to the trigger function. So you can choose your action (overlayInput1) and a time (150000 milliseconds). So your overlay appears 2 minutes after transitionIn of your video.

I meant that this feature should be added in a future release of vMix. I've already posted this in feature requests ( http://forums.vmix.com.a....aspx?g=posts&t=1859 )

The final vMix 12 Preview (12.0.0.86) is available for download below: http://www.vmix.com.au/download/vmix12preview.exeOnly bug fixes should now be reported for vMix 12, all feature requests should go into the Feature Requests forum for vMix 13. Changes/Fixes* CHANGED: New render engine for Stream Input. Smoother video with better buffer management. * ADD: New shortcut functions: SetMultiViewOverlay, SetZoom, SetPanX, SetPanY * ADD: Hardware Acceleration tickbox added to MP4 Recording tab. Will use Intel hardware acceleration where available * ADD: MultiCorder supports recording to MPEG-2 Transport Stream. This can be used for recording multiple HD cameras to a standard hard drive as long as there is enough CPU power available. * ADD: Japanese language support through Google Translate * FIX: Audio Mixer updates when using SetVolume in API * FIX: Fixed video only MOV files paying too fast in x64 * FIX: Fixed various bugs where a language region uses commas instead of decimal points. * FIX: Fixed two bugs in how clipping was handled with MultiView * FIX: Fixed out of bounds bug with trackbar NotesSetMultiViewOverlay takes a Value in the format 3,5 where 3 = the Overlay number to change and 5 = the input to use as the overlay. For example, this shortcut can be used to switch an input when using a double box effect. Regards, Martin vMix

aggh not sure if this is a bug or a feature, but the new OpenPreset which pops up a dialog, the dialog might be useful sometimes but it would be nice for that to be OPTIONAL, also there doesn't even appear to be a keyboard shortcut to close the dialog (like the enter key).

Martin vMix Hi Martin! Sorry of the delay answering to this. Looked in depth in this 'audio not audible' problem on my laptop. Now I think the audio was working, but it was redirected to an external soundcard that was not output connected (only input from an audio mixer). Kind regards, J. Tervo

This is a huge improvement, Martin, we will definately use it. Some minor things that would make many clients happy: 2. Can you add additional resolutioins, such as 800x450 and 960x540 ? There is quite a large gap between 864x and 1024x. 3. Would it be possible to check audio by pressing the right mouse button similar to testing overlays? This would help much in cases when the live stream has been already started but we want to make sure that audio will be working. 7. Introduce a checkbox for input “Automatically mix audio, mute other inputs”. This would be great for transitioning to commercials during the game, when other sounds have to be muted exactly at the same time. Thanks, Dundurs
