Currently I used stinger for that. Also, regarding the reverse, do you mean to use two buttons (Wipe and Wipe Reverse)? I mean if we can only hit Wipe button and in the odd count it will go normal and even count it will go reverse. If we choose WipeReverse then the odd count will go from right to left and the event count will go from left to right.

Please be kindly advise.

The black bar one ... it's the easiest there is
create a virtual input of the one you want to transition to crop top and bottom to the middle (so basically you wont see anything anymore) Have that one on input and the original one in preview and merge (adjust the timing)
