Hello, i'm pretty familiar on how to set up overlay1-4 + stinger on Output menu.
I was wondering if it's possible to setup an overlay channel (let's say Overaly 4) to be used on External Output 2 which is a Blackmagic Decklink SDI output. I've tried without success, so i'm trying to figure out if it's not possible or i'm missing something.

Thanks in advance for your help

You can set-up which Overlays & Stringers will appear on any of the four outputs, including Record, Stream, External (1) and External 2.

Tnx BETech, no matter what i choose i don't get anything on External Output 2.
I have tried to leave all Overlay ON for Output 1 & 2 and i see the graphic only on External Output 1, if i "isolate" Overlay 4 , for example , only on Output 2 i don't get it anywhere.
Does External Output have a different behaviour than "regular output" ie Streaming or recording?

I think i figured out what the problem is:
2nd External Output is set not to "Output" but to a specific input source. This way none of the overlay channels work.

I was about to post, though this information may be useful for others. Make sure your vMix Session Resolution/Frame Rate matches the vMix External Output Resolution/Frame Rate and the Blackmagic Decklink Duo Resolution/Frame Rate.

If you want your overlays to show in external2 when using a specific input, you can trigger them as multiview layers from the overlay input to the specific input

@DWAM, can you provide some additional details on how to set that up, may a screen shot or two?

Thanks!

You simply define as multiviewer the source you send to External output 2, then put your source as first layer and logo/graphics on second or third layer.
