triggers only work on inputs
if the input is a container for inputs, triggers can't be applied within the container but only to the container itself
so you can create your list to include your stinger between each input like this for example - input1 - stinger - input2 - stinger - input3 -...
This will run automatically
OR
you can do it manually

Thanks David JMO As a stinger is basically used to "progressively hide/cover" the transition of 2 subsequent clips by means of another clip or animation playing that stinger between the 2 clips would not need some transparency at all as there is no overlap anyway nor is it overlayed One way i see the possibility of using a stinger automatically and correctly in a list between clip is by scripting, based on the timeline of the clip being played combined with the duration of the stinger clip/animation to instruct overlaying the stinger during the switch/transition between clips in the list.

Thanks for your help David Don't know why you would actually use a stinger between commercials but each his own i guess ;-) But i can sort of understand as using a list the transition between the clips is a cut Using a playlist one can specify the transitions between clips including stingers (have to specify it with each item in that list) note : stinger us the standard way if you want to go the list route one is not going to use the stinger function but rather the input itself used as stinger to be overlayed at the right time between the various clips. This input needs to be set to be triggered to overlay out oncompletion while the script will activate the overlay its trickier to time etc There is an example script here https://forums.vmix.com/...ng-for-Dummies#post71985with a few modification ; like instructing to overlay your stinger input , adding a little pause after that etc it works That is without taking into account activating and/or deactivating the script for other mixing you want to do etc As usual different ways to do things, pick your favorite or suited to your production
