Martin,

Correct me if I'm right, but when I want to use an ipcam I can't directly input the video feed. Is there An possebillity for an direct http feed?
I know there is one in vidblaster and in wirecast, but I like vmix wat more.

Thanks a lot

I didn't see a response to this, but add an input of type STREAM, then specify the IP address for the camera. I'm using it successfully with 10 cameras and RTSP streams.
thanks 1 user thanked wscawebcast for this useful post.

Do you have a delay when using streaming?

Not a significant delay. Accessed directly (HTTP) through a browser, there is no delay for the cameras. Via RTSP to vMix, there's very little delay (milliseconds). Of course, when I'm broadcasting to Ustream, there's a 5-30 second delay depending on the viewing device.

About streaming delay:

vMix help:
The network buffer in milliseconds can be configured to reduce jitter when receiving high latency network streams.
For local network streams, this should be set between 0 and 500 milliseconds or 1000 to 5000 milliseconds for Internet streams.

Low Latency Mode
Local streaming devices such as the Teradek cube support a delay of less than 5 frames in Low Latency Mode.
To use this mode, set the Buffer to 0 and tick the Low Latency Mode checkbox.

My Sony SNC-ZP550 IP camera has 1second delay with rtsp stream.

Who makes cameras that support RTMP in the US?

I'm using Axis P3346 cameras. Axis.com. They have a wide range of IP cameras that should work as Stream inputs to vMix. The P3346 offers a number of output stream formats, I'm using h.264.
