I was originally running vMix on a laptop with specs that were probably not up to par, and the results evidenced that.

Today, I purchase a desktop tower with specs that were supposed to meet requirements (16gb DDR4 RAM, SSD, Nvidia 1060 video card, Intel i7 3.3GHz CPU, Win 10). I have a HDMI capture device that is also supposed to meet specifications (Yuan 570HD PRO HDMI). I'm using a PreSonus AudioBox for sound. I'm on very fast WiFi (upwards of 100 Mbps down).

However, the video is very choppy.

What could I be doing wrong?

Our service is Sunday, and I'm very anxious now.

Help!

There are several potential causes. With the info above it is hard to judge. PM me if you want me to take a look remotely.

I am experiencing the same thing. I have 1070ti graphics card and Blackmagic Design 563980Z-12 DeckLink Quad 2 8-Channel 3G-SDI Capture and Playback Card.

All my other specs are better or at least the minimum vMix specs for 4 camera replay.

Last night I was only switching and streaming in 1080/60. Near the 2 1/2 hour point it started getting choppy and audio was distorted. I am using behringer uh404?? for audio.

It is best to drop us an email to info@vmix.com.au so we can help diagnose what is happening.
