I didn't find options to change the aspect ratio in the API, sorry. My apps can only change the options that are exposed through the web-interface.

Sorry, couldn't follow your grammar...
Are you talking about vMixScheduler? It doesn't do playlists per se. Or did you try to use the new "named input" element? You have to add the input to vMix and set all settings correct, e.g. play at transition, and of course you need to set the correct name.

I just uploaded a short demo to youtube, showing how to use the "input" element to schedule rtmp-streams, and how to split a movie into three parts in order to put something in between, e.g. advertisements. Best to watch in 720p, otherwise text won't be readable.

Can't believe I just found this. Thanks Macjaeger!
I was going to ask about manual triggering, without my actually giving this a run, but as I have some experience with C#, if it isn't there, I guess I can add it myself. So, thanks again for supplying the source.
I had a little trouble getting the source to run, but a quick net search solved the manifest signing problem.

Ah, yes. The manifest thing. I thought i had added the necessary options to the project, but maybe they got lost underway... ;-)

So, I'm a bit confused as to what the html string needs to be for me to addinput for a specific image or camera. ...api/?function=addinput& ?????

I assume this question does not relate to my scheduler, but to the api in general? As far as i know there is no api-call for adding an input of type "camera"; to add a specific image you can use: ".../api?function=AddInput&value=image|c:\whatever\myimage.jpg" A number of good examples for api-usage can be found here: http://www.vmix.com.au/h...ex.htm?DeveloperAPI.html

Macjaeger seems busy with his projects at the moment but i am sure he will try to have a look at it within a week or two. @Martin Since Mac's got the source code ready, is it possible for martin to help the house by taking it up and adding it to vMix as part of addons or plugins? Its has made life so easy and simple for most of us. Just a suggestion.

You are right, i am really busy - and will, for the next couple months at least. But i hope i can test vMix 11 tomorrow evening and fix whatever is stuck in vMixScheduler, probably it's going to be easy.
I've had the opportunity to advance in my daytime job to a new level of responsibility - a chance i gladly took, as now i have the power and means to push forward some projects that have been stuck for too long. The downside is that i now have to deal with a whole new level of administrativ mumbo jumbo that, when done for the first time, often keeps me occupied till late nights. I think that's normal when you catapult into a leading position on short notice, but it's challenging nonetheless.
That said, i regard programming and video work as a means to relax and get my head focussed away from work. So i hope to keep in touch here anyway.

Good news, and bad news.
The good news: i only had to do some minor changes to make VMC recognize v11 of vMix.
The bad news: v11 of vMix won't recognize most of what VMC tells it to do, because the handling of reference GUIDs is changed or broken. I can't fix this unless Martin either fixes it on his side (assuming it's broken), or explains to me the changes he made to the API (assuming it's a change in design). For the moment we are almost back were we've been before vMix v10!

Don't worry i've found an AddInput bug where the GUID was being ignored. This will be fixed for the final release of vMix 11.
One small change to the API is the input node text can now include other information in addition to the title. (MultiView, Title Text Fields etc) So the Title has been copied to a Title attribute as well, so if you are using the title for anything best to refer to it there.
Regards,
Martin vMix
