My last face live stream with 2 video calls,2 local cameras, and multiview with 4 screens, got to 100% total CPU usage, video from one of the guest callers froze while the audio continued.
I can't find the origin of the freeze video, here's my config:

ASUS Laptop, i5 processor, 12gb ram, windows 10,
vmix trial, one hdmi camera via Atem intensity shuttle
one laptop camera
internet: 75 Mbps download and 25 Mbps upload.

I am unsure if the hardware is the issue, the vmix configuration, the internet or all of it.

CPU at 100% is not a good thing and likely the major cause of your issue.
Which graphics card does your laptop use?
Were you recording and streaming simultaneously?
Were your vMix settings the same as your streaming settings?
The more work you ask your computer to do, the higher the CPU usage will be and something you should try to mitigate as much as possible.

I'd say you are pushing the limits of what an i5 laptop can do. Particularly if it doesn't have a high end NVidia dedicated video chip to help it and if it's a dual core i5 and not a quad core i5.

Thank you Icestream and Speegs, I posted a reply so this maybe twice, I have an

Intel® Core™ i5 7200U Processor,
Windows 10 Premium

Chipset
Integrated Intel® CPU

Memory
DDR4 2133MHz SDRAM Onboard Memory, up to 12 GB SDRAM

Graphic
Integrated Intel HD Graphics 520.

I have reduced all settings to 720p and put all Vmixcall returns on the lowest, then stream at 850 kbps, that seems to work on up to 2 callers.

Which laptop configuration should I look up to in order to have maybe 4 callers at the same time and streaming to Facebook at 1280x720 maybe?

Everything IceStream and Speegs alluded to, you don't have an Nvidia card in the laptop. Plus the i5 7200U is a dual core processor, with not as much speed as some of the quad core 2nd gen i7's.

I appreciate any suggestions, my streaming laptop will not be used for games by the way.

That is certainly much more in line with vMix's "reference system" for laptops and likely to give you much smoother and stable streams @ 720p to Facebook.
vMix takes advantage of gaming technology and relies heavily on the graphics card for video processing. Streaming and recording are typically CPU intensive and so having better than average components there will make a difference.

If I were getting a laptop today I’d make sure it had Thunderbolt support.

What do others thoughts about that....
