In my setup when vMix starts, a title is displayed in the program output (with overlay4). how can I simply let it disappear automatically after 5 minutes? I set the duration timer, but that doesn't work and the countdown shows a timer that I don't need.

Hi if you want you can do this very easily with vMixUTC https://forums.vmix.com/...aspx?g=posts&t=6468 It takes 30 seconds to setup: Create a Timer Widget, set it to 5 minutes with "reverse" option to make it a countdown Fill the "On Completion" field with a command name like "Overlay4Off" Now create a Button Widget and give it a name Tick the "execute" box and write "Overlay4Off" in the link field Click the "script" + sign Select "execlink" in the dropdown menu and select "OverlayInputOff" in the function menu and select 4 in the overlay number Now start the countdown. When it reaches 0:00, the command "Overlay4Off" is sent to auto execute the Button command. Et voila! Longer to write than to do! ;o) Guillaume

Thanks, but UTC needs Dotnet4.5, I like to keep my setup as tight as possible.
What is the function of the title duration anyway? Is there maybe a better way to show the title with transparency over the program output?

vMixUTC can run on another PC than your vMix host.
Sorry I don't really understand your 2 questions. There is no function for defining a title duration. This can be done by associating a countdown timer to a command for removing the overlay. This exactly what I explained above. Titles are supposed to be used with an overlay or within a multiview (which is also an overlay)

I see now that the 'duration' clock in the title editor is meant for animations. I already have a script running that starts streaming after 2 minutes, I will use it also for generating an Overlay4off call.

Within the Overlay Settings, there is a duration setting. We use this to remove overlays automatically after 30 seconds. I don't know how long you can set this but worth the look.

Thanks, that's a simple solution, although it needs a free overlaychannel.
It's important to use frames in stead of ms, because 10.000 is the maximum allowed value for ms.
With frames greater delays are possible.

You can set trigger for that input in Vmix
Trigger: OnOverlayIn Function: OverlayInput4Out Delay: 30000
When you set that input on ANY overlay it clear out Overlay 4 after 30 sec.

Thanks, I overlooked the trigger function.
However the maximum delay here is unfortunately 30 seconds and I need 5 minutes.
