Due to a little issue with the latest NDI connect I like to be sure regarding something and confirm:

When a camera input is opened in vMix on a remote unit one can not only get the vMix output on the network but also the camera itself so vMix is creating a ndi source of every camera input? ( connect on remote computer can then see this camera as if it was a local camera )

Hi Doggy

if you set this in vMix settings yes

vMix can provide the network with NDI streams of the output, external2 and all cameras/calls/audio inputs and also audio outputs

and the use of SetOutputExternal2 command allows you to send and switch any input to NDI

"any input" means titles, PPT or really ANY input! ;o)

You can check this post where I explain how to "create" an independent switcher for External2 output
