It appears the latest drivers may have fixed the issue. I've been testing 16.10.3 and 16.11.5 with no more lockups. Can anyone else confirm?

Just tried it and it still locked up. what process did you use to install the new driver. Did you delete the previous version before installing?

Unfortunately it was a false alarm, we will need to chase this up with AMD again. Sorry about that.

With VMix being a secondary activity for the computer that I intend to use I have just stopped using VMix until a fix has been presented. I am really hoping that something can be done about this since VMix is the only application with this issue, as stated above in the thread. Just wanted to add to the "me toos" in hopes that we can get a fix.

A workaround has been added to the latest 18 update (18.0.0.58). It's not a fix as such, but it should get vMix up and running until AMD releases a driver fix.
The down side of this workaround is slightly reduced quality on the Fullscreen outputs but this has no impact on the quality of the stream or recording.
Regards,
Martin vMix

AMD still haven't fixed the bug, however the latest vMix updates all work fine with AMD now, albeit at slightly lower quality, due to a workaround we added.
