Hi,

How do you know it changes the colours on the web browser input?
vMix does not change the colours on these types of inputs, it should be you see is what you get.

The only exception is camera inputs and some video formats, where vMix will correct the "limit" black/white
range on YUV camera sources to match what they should look like on a computer monitor.

Regards,

Martin

Hi Martin,

I've noticed it when playing vids from YouTube through the browser - black seems to be somewhere around 11-16 and white is similarly affected. Checking it again now, its only the video content that is affected, but when you look at the same video in a browser, the black level is "blacker" (presumably 0). You can see what I am talking about in this image - taken from Tom's show that you were in a couple of weeks ago, which is the current video on easternshorebroadcasting's home page: https://dl.dropboxuserco...016-11-26%2019.52.19.png

If you compare the black level of the monitor cases, you will note that the image on the right is lighter. The image on the left is the same page viewed with Google Chrome. Interestingly, the rest of the page does render much the same in both browsers.

I can understand that colour space conversion and stuff like that might affect it ... and to be honest, its not something I am worried about, I just happened to notice it.

I first noticed it on one of Tom's shows - he was using the browser to play something off YouTube and I thought it looked a bit soft in the contrast. Sure enough, when I tested it out for myself, I found the same thing. I am sure there is a perfectly reasonable explanation for it - but I just wondered if you had noticed it?

All the best,
Giles.

Shortcuts on all 3 Options for DataSources work fine for me now on standard Keyboard, but still not on APC mini.

Other shortcuts (Overlays, Scoreboard, etc) work as they should being controlled by APCmini but not those defined for DataSources.

Marc

Fantastic - working for me now too - on APC Mini. Not sure why your APC Shortcuts aren't working Marc?

Tried setting up a new preset and there it works.

So I have to go through my config once again.

Wishes,

Marc
