Why not import the same virtual set twice and then add a camera to each virtual set.

Not sure I understand the question, can you elaborate?
(my understanding is that a "Virtual Set" can have up to 5 Overlay Inputs as per "Multiview", so depending how many are used and/or locked on the set will determine the possibilities)

What I think Ice was saying is that a VS can have layers similar to a multiview .
Each layer can be any input you like , so yes also multiple camera inputs in VS.
Just did try it each camera input with is own chroma key. layout is depending on VS design compared to a regular multiview
