Last week, when using V6, I was able to just drag and drop video and image files from anotherWindows Explorer folder into vMix and they would open and be available immediately.
I upgraded to V8.0.8 and cannot do that anymore, unfortunately and hope this can be repaired/activated again.

Hi Rob,

It still works in 8 (just tested then)
Try making sure you are dragging into a blank area in the input row instead of on top of another input.

Failing that let me know what file format you are trying to drag, I have tried AVI, WMV, PNG and JPEG just before.

Hi Martin, it does not work here and now I suspect I have to re-install it again, but properly.
When I installed V8, I choose to do that in the Accessories folder, so I would be able to go back to V6 if needed.
When I now start up V8, I get this W7 action screen asking me if it is OK to change the settings on the computer, something that is not happening with V6.

So I think that I have to uninstall everything and then install V8 as ususal.
what do you suggest?

Rob

Hi Rob,

Yes, the latest version will need to be installed over the top of the older folder in order to work correctly.

Thanks, Martin.
I just un-installed and re-installed and the V8 version works now as expected.

I was worried because of the presets that i saved and so on but it all comes back as it was this morning! Perfect.
Thanks for the quick reply.

Rob
