Hello there,

My church is starting to use vMix to record Worship Services.

We want to use a VCR as a back up if there's a power outage or if the digital recording is no good.

Is it possible to connect a Honestech VidBox 5.0 VHS to DVD to record to VCR?

Thanks.

The VidBox is in only. You will need to come out HDMI than go through a HDMI to Component converter.

I found this...

Portta 100HC Mini HDMI to 3RCA Composite AV Converter for TV/PC/PS3/Blue-ray DVD1080P,White / Black

Will that work?

If I connect HDMI to PC and RCA to VHS Player?

@ fortsquarechurch

That looks like it should work, although I would not have high expectations on the 'quality'.

I just figured out a cheap way to do it.

Open Control Panel
Set up Extended Displays
Connect a TV via RCA to USB
Go on vMix and set up Multiple Displays
Set it to output full screen
Insert the tape into the VCR
Then record
