Or what is the best way to do captions in vmix live?
I have an upcoming event that will be captioned in another language. Event is live.
Captions will be sent from a powerpoint, and split between a screen onsite above stage and then another output on vga to me.
I was thinking desktop capture, but I would need to crop it so only the small strip of text shows unless there is a way to "alpha channel" on an input?
Running the captions manually is NOT an option - I have to take their output as it is synched to stage action.

When is the event? We are working on adapting an existing hw based technology for that into vMix. It sort of works already, but a few additional needs (like recording the captions) will be adressed. Check out the demo in another topic (second post).
