Hi everyone,
Just wondering if anyone out there ever given it a go before? I've pasted the new i5 specs below. Finding a suitable capture card looks to be a concern. If anyone has had any experience be get to hear for you.

Intel NUC should also have a thunderbolt port. If it's your case use Blackmagic UltraStudio Mini Recorder.

They discontinued thunder bolt on the latest version. It only has a mini DisplayPort unfortunately. It does have 4 USB3 ports but I don't know of any USB3 video cards that take multi SDI inputs. I normally need a minimum of 2 inputs I was thinking about getting 2 of the XI100DUSB-SDI dongles but at $300.00 each the price for the complete unit starts getting up there.

The CPUs in these are very under powered due to the heat problem. Best to go for a small HTPC or 1U form factor if you want small. Means you get PCIe easily to..

you'll probly miss some gpu power as well, making it a less than ideal box for mixing video
M@ik (a huge NUC fan, so i'll probably give one a try anyway, but only have i3's on stock for my signage solutions)
