DISCARD deinterlacing method looks like 25fps instead of 50fps (when source is 1080i50) when High Quality Deinterlacing is enabled.
If you disable High Quality Deinterlacing then there is 50fps like it was before but with flicker (like it was before with 29 vMix version).

What actually High Quality Deinterlacing do and when is active? Which deinterlacing method uses?

Can you add for testing purpose yadifx2 and bwdif?
There are also version for NVIDIA cards doing that job yadif_cuda and bwdif_cuda.

Thanks.

This should now be fixed in 30.0.0.23
As for the method used, this is intentionally not documented so we can use better methods in the future if they meet a certain low latency performance threshold.
(Where we find CPU impact is not significant on modern PCs)

Unfortunately the methods you note are either too CPU consuming, require future frames to work (latency) or not compatible with the formats and methods vMix uses internally, so they cannot be considered at this time.
