Hi all,

I need a solution for audio capture. I currently use an 4 input mixer, connected to a laptop via USB to get different microphones into my streams. That mixer has died! So I'm looking at what to replace it with. I capture my video with Magewell NDI Capture devices. I was wondering if there is something similar for just audio capture? I've done some searches and haven't been able to find anything. Outside using Dante but I don't really want to use Dante. So I'm looking for suggestions and ideas. Any help would be appreciated!

I depends how much functionality you want to have on the audio IO side. Some suggestions.
Motu has a lot of good IO devices.
Behringer has some more cheaper options. From pure IO the "Flow 8" might be worth looking into. For more inputs look into XR18.
Another idea for DSP/Dante included but connected via USB to vMix also look at Yealink AP08.
Focusrite can also be an option in the IO area.

I'm slightly confused on what you're looking for. You mention NDI and Dante, so that leads me to believe you're looking for an audio over Ethernet type of solution. Is that the case? Or are you just looking for something to replace your broken audio interface, that connects via USB?
