I just bought the Tascam Model 12 sound console. I have installed the software, driver and firmware updater. I have added all the audio channels of the Tascam to VMIX and it has recognized them independently, this is what I needed but the problem is that if I raise the fader of input 1 of the Tascam it does not increase the volume on audio input 1 of VMIX. The gain knob for each channel does work correctly, when I turn it up on the Tascam it raises the volume level on the VMIX. If I press the Mute key on channel 1 on the Tascam, the sound on channel 1 on VMIX is not cut. Is there a way that if I raise the fader on the Tascam, it will also raise the volume level in VMIX? Thank you.

According to the manual at https://www.tascam.eu/en...Model12_OM_EFS_RevF.pdf, "Selecting the positions that recording signals are sent from each channel", you can set the USB send point to Pre Compressor, Post Compressor or Post EQ. For what you want to do, you would need to set it to Post Fader, but the mixer doesn't support it.

In the manual I have seen the following:
****** AUX2/FX knobs (1-6, 7/8-9/10) Use to adjust the levels of the signals sent to the AUX2/FX bus (POST FADER) ****** POST FADER The signal is sent to the AUX 1 bus after adjustment by the channel fader. ******

AUX usually refers to the analog outputs of the mixer. If you want to use the faders and have an effect in vMix, you would probably have to use the Master output via USB in vMix (select Input 11&12 in vMix). Or maybe write to Tascam support, and ask if it is possible to set the USB send point to "Post Fader".

I'm not aware of any mixer that provides individual audio inputs without ASIO, nor am I aware of any mixer that uses ASIO for that post-fader.
