This has been asked a few times in the past, but never answered directly. Besides using a translator like Central Control, what is the trick to setting up a BCF2000 to control faders etc. in vMix?

My controller is recognized, both in Shortcuts and Activators, and I can "Find" the faders/encoders when I create a new shortcut, but no vMix faders move when I move the physical faders, and the physical faders immediately drop to zero.

I saw the same behavior when using this controller on an ATEM, but that issue turned out to be the USB dongles. When I used a CalDigit, a proper breakout unit, it worked just fine. For vMix I'm plugged directly into the tower.
