Hi there!

We are running in audio problems during the last 4 live streams on facebook and Insta. I'm trying to give a short overview of hardware and software:

We streamed from remote location with
- LinkPi Hardware Encoder 1 (1080/30, 4k Bitrate VBR, AAC audio) for horizontal (fb, Youtube)
- LinkPi Hardware Encoder 1 (720/30, 3k Bitrate VBR, AAC audio) for vertical (Insta)
- SrtMiniServer UDP Bonding Agent (5g + LTE Telekom + LTE Vodefone + Starlink Priority)

to our studio with:
- SRTMiniServer (where the streams arrive) SRT -> NDI
- latest VMIX version (get horizontal source as NDI)
- another Streamprogram to receive vertical as NDI

Everything works perfectly. Sound, video, VMIX calls, everything just fine!

Now the issue:
Starting stream with the "another" program to Insta, sound complete broken - but in software perfect.
Starting stream with VMIX to restream: Audio perfect until first users alerted "no sound" problems at around half an hour running. I checked it by phone: No audio :-( YouTube works fine (same restream).

After sad minutes until the stream comes to an end, we checked the facebook-Stream once again to recognize the moment where the sound gets lost and surprise: NO sound issues the complete stream O_o

Restream support analysed the stream with "no issues", so we are currently thinking about a problem by META because of the same problems with 2 different types of software and hardware. Could it be something about audio Codec?

Does anyone run into similar problems streaming to fb or Insta?

@ Ice: That did it! Thank you so much - endless time wasted checking SRT configs. It was the Mono-Audio device, connected with XLR-to double-Chinch. Connected only 1 chinch and changed config to mono resolved the problem.
