Headphone monitoring while outputting to HDMI

New streaming setup from our sports league. We output to a Videon encoder (displayport to hdmi from a RTX3060) which then streams out to our provider via internet. We also output NDI at the same time within our private network for low latency displays at the same time - NDI output never has an audio problem.
When Windows 11 has Videon set as default output I lose headphone monitoring, when headphones set as default I lose audio on Videon output.
Activated Stereo Mix in Windows and added either device as a second output device and the other as the default device. Only the default device has audio. same as before.
Any suggestions, it's a real pain not to be able to monitor during streaming. Oh, latest Vmix4K version.
Thanks

Thanks for the quick response.
