When I input a camera with audio I can choose to split the audio - L + R.

This is then downmixed with other inputs etc to a double mono output (L+R combined).

Is there a way to split the output audio in a similar way and have the audiolevels seperate?
This would alow me to control and record L+R on a different / individual level, like normal and safely level (reduced).

In postprocessing this would alow for using one of these channels or switch of a level is clipped.

In a livestream this could still be combined or the levels would just be a little bit off (but you can control that).

cheers Stefan

Maybe find a VST3 plugin to add to the Master output which allows you to control L & R gain independently?
