Hello,
i have one situation and i wish that you can help me. So i have PC with vMIX installed, and i have ubuntu server (same local network). Is it possible to send singal from vMix to ubuntu server, and from there to create RTMP stream? Ubuntu server have static IP adress. I was trying to stream RTMP directly from VMix but without sucess.

Streaming RTMP directly from vMix should be no problem at all, that is what we do all the time. So please let's find out why that is not working for you before making things more complicated than they should be.
If you really need to go to the server first, NGINX with RTMP plugin would be a good way to go.
What is the problem? Is the network not allowing RTMP port usage?

Hi
for RTMP streaming you need 2 things: - a RTMP encoder. vMix does that - and a RTMP server which receives the stream to multiple purposes.
Ubuntu Server is not pre-installed with a RTMP server, so it can't work until you install such a package. As Mathijs said, one solution is Nginx web server with RTMP plugin (which might cause conflict with Apache web server if it is already installed), but there are other options like Mist Server (https://mistserver.org/) or the most reputated one which is Wowza (https://www.wowza.com/) that you can try for free. (Also Red5 or Nimble, etc...)
However, it is not clear to me what you want to do. You say "from there to create RTMP stream"... What for ? Distribute this stream over your local network ? Over the internet ? Please tell us more...
