Hi

I think there maybe a small bug with the 'reception' of Flash RTMP streams. If the incoming stream dies the input just goes transparent. This is GOOD! as I can place a still image behind my RTMP PIP, and it doesn't look odd.

When the stream recovers, the VMIX input picks it up and starts streaming again. But only the first time the stream is recovered. If the stream drops a second time, instead of going transparent it just freezes. Subsequent re-acquisition of the stream decodes and displays the first frame, and then freezes.

I can force my encoder to start and stop infinitum, and all VMIX see's is the first frame of the restart. Resetting the Input Channel sorts it all out, but a bit annoying when you have streams starting and stopping all day.

Hopefully this can be sorted out for 16

Fixed this by writing a flash RTMP player.

If anybody is interested I now have a web based videochat platform to replace Skype. I just send contributors a URL they log-in at the appointed time and they pop-up on a VMIX input. If the connection fails, the input holds the last frame, and continues when the contributing stream re-negotiates. Also deals with 16:9 and 4:3 webcams.
