I am on version 9.0.0.124 I am running 3 or 4 MS LifeCam Studio via USB 3 (works fine) I am trying to record in AVI - DV Video Encoder as the Codec 1280x720 as the size. The output comes out 4:3 -- If I use WMV it records fine, but am looking slightly better quality.
I read here to try using a couple different Codec most recent was Lagaith, but here is when the newbie comes out, I seem to install them (the recommended ones) but I don't know how to get vMix to recognize them. I am sure I am missing a simple concept here.
Any help would be appreciated.

The DV Encoder only supports standard definition as the resolution. Try using a different codec. I recommend installing the drivers for the Blackmagic Design Intensity Pro (even if you don't have any blackmagic hardware) and using the "Decklink MJPEG Compressor" as the codec.
