Audio input (from input device) not showing in mixer

Hi, me again.. :)
So I'm selecting my Intensity Pro as input device and I check the 'audio'-box, hoping to be able to hear the sound from my camera (which is of course connected to my Intensity Pro). No sound though and when I open the mixer there's nothing there (no vu-meters in neither of the tabs).
When I add an audio device as input (so it shows up in the Input List) I do see a vu-meter in the mixer, but no sound is coming through.
Anyone an idea what could be going wrong?
Thanks! Albrecht

The audio checkbox is only for DV and HDV sources. To use the audio from the Intensity Pro it needs to be added seperately via the Add New Input, Audio tab.

I'm seeing the same thing. I have a Intensity Pro and I'm unable to get audio from it. I'm adding it as a separate Audio Input (Decklink Audio Capture, 48000 16 Bit 1 or 2 Channels), and I get no sound. If I go into the mixer, I see a Decklink Audio VU mixer with levels at zero and not moving.
I get audio over Decklink Audio Capture in Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder, so it's not an issue with my hardware setup.

I managed to get it to (sort of) work -- I had to add a video capture input as well, and then the audio started playing from the audio input. Very strange.
Sadly the audio is sort of crackly/clippy and delayed by about 4 seconds, so it's not really usable, and I'm left looking into alternate audio options.

Hi,
It looks like the DeckLink audio device does not work independently of the video capture. I am testing the option of linking the audio device with the capture input and so far the audio appears to be in sync and without any crackling.
I will release a test version once the testing is complete.

The following test version is now available: http://www.vmix.com.au/d...oad/vmix2011v10testb.exeThis version includes the option to specify an audio device when adding a video capture device. This allows the grouping of DeckLink audio and video devices which is required for audio sync with the latest drivers. Let me know how it goes. Regards, Martin vMix

Hi Melody,
The new test version does not have any changes to how mp4 files are played. I would suggest uninstalling some of the codecs you have and using the built in MP4 decoder in Windows 7.
Regards,
Martin
