TL/DR: When using a local desktop capture as an input, how do I add an audio source that will be automatically used each time the desktop input is selected? The details: - vMix (18.0.0.61) - Windows 10 PC - Apollo Twin external USB audio capture device - Magewell external USB video capture device - PowerPoint 2010 I have setup input #1 for my camera & external mic - and they both work perfectly. I have setup a desktop capture (input #2) to view PowerPoint slides. The slides show up fine, however, I can't seem to find a way to add my mic input to the desktop capture, and there is no audio meter in the Audio Mixer for the desktop. Once the Desktop Input #2 is selected, I can goto the Audio Mixer and click the speaker button for my camera (input #1) and the sound will mix into the desktop. However, as soon as I switch inputs and then return to the desktop, the speaker button is no longer selected. I can click it again, but this is not helping the flow of my delivery on my webinar. Any ideas? Thank you in advance! John JohnRichter attached the following image(s): vMix-Audio & Desktop.png (107kb) downloaded 6 time(s).You cannot view/download attachments. Why not add your Apollo audio device as a separate input? It will always be on unless you turn it off. IceStream talks about having your audio always on for a camera source in this thread http://forums.vmix.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=8776You could also do it with a Shortcut that switches to input 2/Desktop capture and turns the "camera" audio on. That's not the best way but it works.
