Im having a problem with NDI where almost all of the time i get no NDI sources available, the wheel thing just keeps spinning and finds no sources. The problem is the same with NDI VIdeo Monitor it only works some of the time. I have to restart vmix multiple times till it finally finds a NDI source and this happens all the time and its causing big problems for me. The 3 pcs I have vmix installed on is the same problem. network is set to private on all 3 of the machines. Is there something I am missing? I am using Vmix 17.0.0.111. Any insight would be helpful. Thanks

Some PC's are not NDI compatible. Share your PC specs.

I think Tom means things like the CPU - not all CPUs can exectute the instructions in the NDI DLLs. There's more info on the NewTek website as to the PC requirements for running NDI. However, the fact that it even works some of the time suggests that this is not the cause of the problem, or else it would probably never work, but I'm afraid I don't know what would cause an issue like this.

I understand what Tom is saying but I've heard of similar problems using a slower network.

Try installing the latest vMix 18 update (18.0.0.58) and see if that helps with locating sources as there have been a few fixes
since 17.111
