Hi, is there a way to be able to change slides within vmix via acue system or slide advancer?
I would really like to use the program on live events with presenters being able to control the slides
Thank you

You can change slides via a web browser. If the presenter has a smart device (laptop, iPad, smartphone, Surface, etc), they can bring up the Web Interface in their browser.

To enable Slide Advance, you would add a Shortcut with Function "NextPicture" and Input "MySlides" (specify either your PowerPoint or your folder containing images). Additional shortcuts can be added for "PreviousPicture", "FadeToBlack", or "Restart".

Thanks Jon,

If your slide advancer can emulate a keypress, you can use setup a shortcut in vMix directly, or use something like autohotkey to trigger it via the web interface from another workstation.

Thanks Grimble,

The cue system i use is a USB connection and is supposed to emulate the keys as you say.
I will have another play and see if it works. Are there any settings which may prevent it from working?

Most slide advancers send PageUp and PageDown as the keys.
These can be configured in vMix using the "PageUp" and "Next" shortcut key options.

I _think_ if the vMix window doesn't have focus, it won't get the keypress. In this case, you can set up AutoHotkey to send it through, I think, regardless of what window has focus - use the ControlSend function - http://www.autohotkey.co...commands/ControlSend.htm
