Hi Martin,
Thanks for the update!
Just curious what updates happened here:* Improved Audio Sync. (Eliminated delay and reduced dropped samples)
Is this for the virtual output, output to SDI, both?

Hi Martin,
Nice work again! I did some tests with the latest version (9.0.0.106).
The RTSP works really fine for me. I am using an AXIS M50 HD PTZ dome camera (which is above the playing field in our sportcentre) in low latency mode without any issues.
Also the new streaming functionality works OK. We are streaming to a private channel facility (so no USTREAM, etc.).
However I found an issue. Some shortcut keys won't work anymore. The UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT keys are broken. Probably some more. Could you verify?
A small wish. When starting the stream the 'EXT' will become visible. But what if I both start the external output and the stream? Is it possible to create a new indicator (GREEN?) for the stream.
Ah, when I press the 'pause inputs' button, I expect a 'resume inputs' on the button. But that doesn't work. I am not sure if this is by design or a small bug.
Regards, Hanno.

Hello Martin,
Thanks for the new version!
Is it possible to built a option while you put a video as input if the video starts at the beginning or on the position i select. For some of my videos i insert it is neccesary to start at the begin of the video (example: inserts or advertising) but if i have a delay insert, this one should not start at the begin of the record part, it is important to start at my selected position.
I would like to diffirenciate at each input, with what action my video start...
Sorry for my bad englisch
Sven

@ Sven If I understand you correctly, you should be able to cue up your videos in "preview' by using the slider, make sure to un-check the "Automatic Restart with Transition" box in the general info pop-up window and your videos should start at the current time mark on the slider. If, however, you want a way to save that particular "in point" of a video for repeated use during a broadcast then I am not sure that feature is available yet...

@Ice Stream
I would like an option per input which one give to set the automatically video start or whether it appears at the time set by crossfade or shortcut. each time I add a new input I'd like as selection menu (DVD, video, delay: like: this video always play from the beginning, or another video: always at the selected time and after playing the video to zero! So that you have various options from video to video
You understand? or I describe too complicated in my poor english?

Martin,
I noted the arrow keys were not working as well. (Mine are assigned with shortcuts.)
Also, when attempting to save my project, I received this: "Unable to cast object of type 'er' to type 'ew'."
and no file was created (or overwrite, thankfully.)
Best,
Michael

Hi All, Another preview release of vMix 9 is below (9.0.0.119) http://www.vmix.com.au/download/vmix9preview.exeWe're getting closer to a final release (I hope!). Changes: * Fixed audio latency issues caused by soundcard running slower than CPU * Added additional synchronisation to DeckLink output to prevent audio drift * Fixed issue with crop sliders * Fixed Video Delay colour shift on some RTSP sources * Fixed some memory errors on 32bit vMix in QuickTime and Open Dialog. * Ticking Alpha checkbox will ignore EVR setting as only VMR9 supports alpha channel * Fixed bug where QuickTime inputs would bring up an error when saving to preset * Some buttons would no longer trigger shortcuts on keydown, added them to keyup instead. * Fixed error when starting and stopping external output quickly. Please report any bugs. Thanks, Martin vMix

Hi Martin,
Thanks for fixing the shortcuts. Two small things.
The playback speed for a delay is not saved in the preset. Not a bug, but is it possible to respect the playback speed when saving a delay. E.g. 75% on the delay becomes automatic also 75% on the new 'saved delay' input?
And something for a future version. I would appreciate if it's possible to auto assign a shortcut to a saved delay. My idea: find the first shortcut that is assigned to the delay you're saving (e.g. F1 - for Cut). After the save, assign the first available shortcut to the saved delay (e.g. F2 - with Cut).
Actually, my real problem is that a saved delay is always appended to the end of the input list. I am doing live sport registrations. On My HD screen (1920x1080) I see 2 rows with inputs. With all my camera's, overlays and other stuff, I have 2.5 rows of input. My saved delays are always on row 3. So I have to scroll to select the appropriate saved delay.
A quicker and probably easier solution is to add the latest saved delay always right to the original delay (could be an setting). That helps me a lot find the right saved delay in a quick way.
Thanks!
Regards, Hanno.

Hi Martin,
When saving from a video delay on an rtsp source, it gives me an error:
VideoDelay_Save.VideoDelay_Save.VE_NEWA Codec Not Supported. Try different Output Format under Settings, Performance.
It works fine when the delay is on the output, however.

Hi Melody,
What stream is bringing up the audio error? It usually means the audio format is not supported. For the daystar television stream, it does not appear to support RTP UDP which is what vMix requires.

It's so nice to see the integration of FMLE. Is there a way to setup the audio encoder? We use normaly aac for encoding audio.
Thanks admin for your great work.

hi martin, the audio error comes from our "espiritosanto.cc" stream. if this helps, we are streaming using h264 for video and aac (sbr) for audio. regards, melody www.espiritosanto.cc

Melody,
I've tested the stream under Windows 8 Pro and the audio works ok. It sounds like you might have some 3rd party directshow filter breaking things or perhaps the buffer size is too low.

Hi Martin,
tested the new version v9.0.116 and I am very pleased with the results. No dropped samples, sound stays synchronised even after long (4-6 hour long) tests. I also like the quick streaming settings using USTREAM.
The only thing I noticed is that if I turn on an audio button under an input it not always turns green. After turning it off and on again the button lights up.
I tested recording and live streaming using BM intensity shuttle (USB 3) in combination with a USB2 Logitech C920 webcam (using windowsdrivers) and with desktop capture.
The new version is a great stap forward. greetings, Stefan

hi martin, yes, i use k-lite mega codec pack but for some reason, unknown to me, i tried our rtsp source with vmix (.119) in the last few days on diferent desktops and it seems to be working fine. about buffer size, i tried many diferent values, and seems that 5000 is the correct value for our stream. well, i think the rtsp issues was gone away :) regards, melody www.espiritosanto.cc
