On the Cirque Magique festival we tried to feed a drone live into our production: https://www.facebook.com...videos/1895526240670661/We used an amimon connex on the drone and connected to the ground station via 80 meter sdi cable. The amimon connex had some trouble with connection, but overall it had a nice result. Since the drone crew was actually shooting the aftermovie, we could only use 5 minutes of their battery ad time, next time we hire them especially for us :)

Nice, only the round tent of course blocked what you would want to get of the shots. Or they should take it up much higher, which I expect they did for the aftermovie. ;)

It was pretty simple, I took the HDMI output off the controller, then converted it to SDI using a very cheap HDMI to SDI converter, then the SDI signal went straight into my Decklink Quad2 which was a source. Nothing overly complex or difficult and it worked great. Here is a picture of my setup with the drone on preview. https://drive.google.com...71za2Mw/view?usp=sharing

This is the one I use. https://www.amazon.ca/ni...amp;keywords=HDMI+to+SDII have also used the Decimator MD-HX, It works really well when you need to convert your signal for a switcher that does not accept different frame rates/resolutions (like the ATEM line of switchers). Curtis
