hello everybody.

For the little tv station i work in, i'm going to build up a backup for our Video Toaster.

But i really need some help.

In the office i got:
2 intensity pro PCI-E 1X boards (with no bracket and breakout cable) i get from the "bay"
1 PCI-e 4x Intensity pro 4k (full package).

I got also from the bay an OLD (PCI version) decklink Extreme and a (just a bit newer) decklink extreme 1x PCIE.

now the problem is that black magic cards are quite difficoult with driver versions and motherboards with more than 3 pci express slots are expensives.

Could you suggest me please operating system version (xp? seven?) and what version of blackmagic drivers are better?

Thanks a lot,

Federico Allegretti

I have Intensity Pro and MiniRecorder from BMD
I was trying them on some branded pc's like Lenovo and it didn't work. Now I bought gigabyte and everything works perfect. The MB has 2 x1, 2 x16 slots and I have now ekstra 2 slots free for graphic card or another capture card. Didn't have problems with drivers. I have Win 7 but I installed drivers from CD that I get with cards. That means older drivers worked great for me :)

Best regards

thanks for the kind reply.

Trying the setup with all the cards i can arrange in the MB, but i'm quite shure windows 7 will not like the old decklink 7.9 drivers :D
