Hello! I'm having some difficulty figuring out if Vmix supports multiple inputs from the Decklink 4k Pro. It's supposed to have (According to the box) "2 X 12Gb/s SD/HD/2K/4K SDI INPUTS"
Since the lower tier Decklink says it only has one input, does this mean I can use 2 SDI cameras with the Decklink 4k Pro? I'm only seeing one Decklink input listed in Vmix.
The plugs on the back of the DeckLink 4k pro are labelled as input a and input b.

I am running Windows 7 and have the latest Blackmagic Desktop Video software installed.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Usually with BMD the A B scenario is a feature called dual link for use with 3D stereo workflows.
Ie a left and a right video channel.

So I think Vmix is reporting correctly in you only have 1 single input / output and not 2 seperate usable video channels.

I'm curious about this as well. It seems as if it SHOULD support 2 independent inputs and 2 independent outputs.

"SDI Video Input: 2 x 12Gb/s SD/HD/2K/4K. Supports single link and dual link 4:2:2/4:4:4."

"Ideal for both traditional 2D and high end 3D stereoscopic workflows, you get support for full resolution, deep color YUV and 12-bit RGB 4:4:4 images. DeckLink 4K Pro features two multi rate 12G-SDI inputs and outputs with support for 16 channels of embedded audio, along with a connection for reference input."

I need to get 8x input for 4K, and 4 of these would be great.

Did you ever get this working? Anyone else have experience with this card?

Go into the BMD Setup program for the Decklinks, Select the card, and the at the bottom of the next screen should be a spot to setup the input. IE, it will say "SDI1 & SDI2" in a drop down with options of "SDI1" and "None". Choose "SDI1". Slide to the second input, and it should be set to "SDI2" (other option would be "None").

We have a "Duo 2", and this options makes the 4 inputs work as single units.

So this card can take simultaneously 2 input cameras?
How I red when have this one it can't be done ( I think on decklink 4k pro).. It can do only one input at time. So you can do A in B out or B in A out.

Maybe I am wrong
