Hi everyone!

I'm in trouble with this software... i'm trying the trial version and i want to test it in my college. We use this software to transmit images from a live source (manycam) to other screens. The peoblem, is that when i connect a screen to the pc, i can't view anything otherwise the desktop. I just want to view incoming images from manycam and the relative audio. Is there any way to do that? Can you help me doing this? I'm new on this software, if possible, give me a step by step tjtorial, link this if there is anotherone.

I'm using a windows 10 asus.

Thanks!!!!

Hi Matt

If your meaning that you are connecting a second monitor and wish view that input as a Fullscreen Output
You may need to go into Vmix Settings > Display and choose which one is the Display 2 by selecting the Display number
(The number will be the number that Windows identifies the monitor as)

I may have the problem that you are trying incorrect. Desktop Capture and selecting the pc/monitor is one way to capture/display the
feed from the ManyCam. But this will not provide audio if local from my understanding.

Regards

James

@ mattymyto

It is not clear what it is you want to do...
As I understand it, you want "Manycam" to be your camera Input in vMix, which is the software controlling your webcam, yes?

@ mattymyto

Still not clear...
vMix sees and displays your 'manycam' camera input properly in vMix main UI, yes?
And you want to send vMix's "Program" output from your computer to another screen and/or a network of screens with HDMI cable, yes?
Your computer has an available HDMI output display port, yes?
If all this is all correct, you'll want to use the "Fullscreen" feature of vMix set to "Output" and sent to the second display of your computer (you'll need to set-up your computer to recognize dual display in Windows Settings).
You should not be able to see the "Fullscreen" output on your computer's main screen if this is setup properly.

I hope I have understood correctly.

@ mattymyto

Have you set-up your computer for "dual" or "Multiple" displays in Windows Settings ('Extend these displays')?
(Probably best to have a second monitor connected for this as Windows should detect it)

In vMix Settings/Display, set 'Display' to 2.
In vMix Settings/Outputs, set 'Fullscreen':'Display' to "Output".
In vMix main UI, highlight "Fullscreen" button. Whatever is displaying on your 'Program' output screen should now be fullscreen on your second monitor.

Note: I'm still not clear as to whether vMix recognizes "ManyCam" as a camera source on your system, yes or no?
(all your efforts may be for not if vMix cannot see ManyCam).
