I'm looking to add a scorebug to a live switched hockey feed with VMIX using a live camera pointed at the arena scoreboard.
I need to know of a capture card that can take 2 SDI signals in and output the VMIX program on SDI simultaneously. We are running everything in standard def 16:9 right now, so HD isn't necessary, though I know most cards today support it anyways.

This is how I plan to use VMIX with 4 overlay channels to achieve this:

Switched feed on the main layer
Overlay 1 using scoreboard camera feed cropped to the time clock
Overlay 2 using the scoreboard camera feed cropped to the home score
Overlay 3 using the scoreboard camera feed cropped to the away score
Overlay 4 using a custom scorebug "Title" graphic with text areas to put in the city abbreviations.
(I know I might need to use some multiview trickery in order to use the same input source 3 times but I believe it can be done.)

Then I want to take this combined feed out through SDI, it will then get distributed to a webcast & in-house TV screens.

Here is an image showing what I am looking to do, as I said the time/scores would be a feed coming from a camera pointed at the arena scoreboard.

Is that the only option around that price or cheaper?

I see the decklink duo has 2 ins and 2 outs, is that limited to only 2 in or out at once?
If so would a decklink duo work for the 2 capture and add a decklink mini monitor for the output?

Blackmagic decklink duo not full duplex card, work onli out or input. You need to use more mini monitor for output.
I would have used the Blackmagic DeckLink HD Extreme 3, it can be used for the Title key + fill, since decklink duo does not synchronize properly concluded key + fill

@ swcreative

I believe the "Decklink Duo" is only two channels which can be either 'In' or 'Out', so you could have 1 'In' and 1 'Out', or 2 'In' or 2 'Out', but not 2 'In' and 2 'Out'.
(Someone correct me if I am wrong)
There are a multitude of capture cards and boxes at a variety of price points that should be able to accommodate your needs, you are best to do some research to narrow your choice:

If you have 3 PCI-express slots the cheapest and good working solution would be 2x decklink mini recorder + 1x decklink mini monitor. Plus you are not limited to SDI inputs (decklink duo), because mini recorders have HDMI inputs too.
