Hi Martin,

Can I request for vMix 16 some kind of recording recovery feature. I typically situation is when we accidentally remove a storage device removal or a power failure while recording in a production. This would be a great piece of mind.
Yes, I still have a backup recording via my Atomos Ninja connected to output but having vMix do a this would be great too.

Cheers Bryan

Hi Byron,
You can set vMix to record anywhere from 1 minute to 60 minutes (1-5-10-15-20-30-60) which will give you a new file for the recording session selected. You can also set vMix to record straight through without any breaks.
Cheers!

Thanks George,

I see that option but I was really meaning the ability for vMix to fix a corrupted file due to a power failure. Sorry, I was not really specific about the corrupted file part.

I really only want one full length file and if it's corrupted then I have a big issue. Hope Martin can get vMix to fix the corrupted file.

Cheers Bryan

Bryan. if you use MPEG TS as your recording format you should limit issues in these circumstances. See also here: http://www.vmixhd.com/he...tTolerantRecordings.html
