I am trying to use my canon r300 and panasonic dv102 camcorders with vmix via a ezcap.tv video capture device. I cannot get a picture with either one. Are there special settings I should use?

@ pamdell88

You may need to provide more details...
I have never used ezcap-tv, but it seems that others on here have with mixed success:

Are you able to confirm that all the pieces of the puzzle are functioning, either independently or with other software/hardware?
Does ezcap-tv recognize camera/video signal?
Does vMix acknowledge ezcap-tv as an input source?

Both camcorders work from av port to tv. Vvmix sees the Excap card but no video signal. VMic works perfect with my lifecam webcam. It's jusu using the camcorders that I am questioning

It needs to have Direct Show drivers which it may not. There are other low cost options to bring in SD inputs. Two that work are the EzCap (http://www.amazon.com/EZCAP-TV-Converter-Camcorders-Satellite-Supports/dp/B003YGJLWU/ref=as_sl_pc_tf_til?tag=piratesoccer-20&linkCode=w00&linkId=SDL7EO6DL72OHTN2&creativeASIN=B003YGJLWU )Use the real not Chinese clones!, and the Honestech VidBox (http://www.honestech.com/main/vhs-to-dvd-80-deluxe.asp). The Roxio devices also work but I find they run hot and are expensive. After that you can look at capture cards, and other USB devices such as the Avermedia LiveGamer Portable but these are now getting over the $100.00 mark.

On a side note, I have a client who is using the Honestech and a vMix Basic version to convert old VHS and UMATIC video tapes to digital. He is a University archivist and has access to a multi-thousand dollar machine to do the same, but gets better and easier results using vMix!

The dazzle works on Adobe flash media but I couldn't get it to work on vvmix. I have the ezcap vvmix sees it but I can't get a picture. Can you verify the settings I should use?
