Hi all

I've got a 1080p 60fps very basic project setup in vMix and Im seeing everyso often source drops on the Rode video Caster S, Cams set to 60, Rode set to 60 so no frame mismatches through the Rode into vMIx.(other UVC devices are doing the same)

RodeVideo Caster S
vMix Pro 29
1 Replay
1 GT title

Asus TUF F15 Laptop 2022, 16GB Memory, Nvidia 3050TI 6GB GFX(set to Rebar, Max performance set)
In vMix stats

Render 5ms
CPU 1%
GPU 5%
Total 11%

Replays on 2TB M2 drive
Recordings on 1TB M2 drive (vmix and windows

Could the windows HDD be on its way out?

TIA

Hi,

For all video connections on the Asus TUF F15 2022, you must use capture cards on the Thunderbolt port
because it is directly managed by the CPU
BMD Ultrastudio or Thunderbolt PCIe Enclosure + capture card pcie

Thanks Kayo, but yes its plugged into the Thunderbolt port already. Just with it being such a basic vmix setup and hardly any usage on system resources im wondering if the drive is on its way out
